Worle Community School Academy in Weston-super-Mare hosted its first ever ‘Into the Light’ events for hundreds of families to tour their fantastic facilities.
The tours gave an open air insight into school life and a chance to view WCSA’s excellent campus facilities, including the £400,000 auditorium and sports hall improvements.
And the academy also did a TV-style open evening for families to watch on Facebook alongside a series of TV-style interviews available on its YouTube channel.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, the usual “open evening” annual events were not possible which prompted the special events.
Principal Jacqui Scott said: “We have loved meeting so many families, getting to know prospective students, and showing them around our outstanding campus. If any families would like a private tour at any time, we would encourage them to get in touch.”
The academy has a high-achieving and caring ethos, aiming to challenge and support to encourage the full potential of every single student.
