WCSA have praised 641 of the students who have received 1 or more certificates from their teachers since the start of Lockdown

A whopping 1800 ‘well done’ certificates have been sent out to inspirational hardworking students at a Weston Academy since Lockdown began.

Worle Community School Academy have praised 641 of the students who have received 1 or more certificates from their teachers since the start of Lockdown.

The school has sent out a staggering number of 1,800 certificates altogether with hundreds more set to be sent out in the next few weeks.

Year 8, Robert Stuart (pictured) has received the highest of certificates so far with 21 and counting.

The certificates come from the subject teachers who personalise a message for the student which appears on the certificate. 

At the end of last term five students who had the highest number of certificates altogether received prizes of Amazon vouchers.

His mum, Mrs Stuart, said: “We are so proud of Robert’s work ethic and achievements during lockdown.

Our students have been working hard at home to keep up with their studies throughout Lockdown.

The academy has a wonderful caring and high achieving ethos, excellent extracurricular provision including the Jill Dando News Centre and the groundbreaking eco-club.
