Hockey Academy

The Worle Hockey Academy is an invitation only club aimed at our top level performers. The aim of the Academy is to progress these players onto club level hockey and improve the standard of the school team. The sessions are run Fridays after school or Tuesday mornings where selected pupils gain specialist coaching, learn about positional play, skills and team tactics.

Miss Gibbins has been running this Acadamy since the beginning of 2013 and hopes to continue this throughout the academic year.

Year 7 Hockey Team North Somerset County Champions (2016)

The girls have had an amazing season only conceding 1 goal all season and winning on finals day vs Priory 2-0! Well done to all involved!
