Saturday and Half Term Revision Sessions

Dear Parents/Carers,

Here at WCSA we want to help our students to achieve their maximum potential in their GCSE exams.

Already, we have created numerous opportunities for revision in school, especially for English and maths.  Our Heads of English and Maths have left no stone unturned in “targeting” Year 11 students for further intervention and support.  I am sure that the hard work and dedication of our students will pay dividends come results day in August 2018.

However, we wish to give our students the opportunity for further revision and preparation during the five Saturdays leading up to exams, as well as during the half term break.  Therefore, we have planned and organised a variety of sessions for students to attend; these will be excellent revision exam workshops with their teachers.   Please refer to the reverse of this letter for details of the sessions that have been arranged.

We would be grateful if you could encourage your child to attend as many sessions as possible.  From past experience, students found they were able to improve by an extra grade by attending the final revision sessions during the weeks leading up to the exams.

Meanwhile, please do not hesitate to contact me for further guidance and clarification on this or on any other matter.

As always, many thanks for your help and support.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Markoutsas
