Curriculum Enrichment October 2018
This week on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 October we will be having our first curriculum enrichment days of 2018-2019. During this time students will take part in a programme of activities instead of their regular timetabled lessons.
Year 7 and 8 students will participate in a programme over the two days that covers the topics of internationalism, careers, e-safety and child development, while Year 9 students will participate in a programme that covers the British Empire & multiculturalism in Britain as well as Sex & Relationships. Please note you can view the school’s policy on Sex & Relationship education on the policies page of our website.
Our Year 10 students will look at economic well-being and team building on Thursday, while on Friday they will meet employers and take part in mock interviews. Year 11 students will participate in English PPEs, mental health workshops and, on Friday, will visit Weston College campuses. For more information on mock interviews or Weston college visit please refer to the recent letter from Leeza Cuthbertson.
If you have any questions about these two days, please do contact me here at WCSA.
