James is an ambitious and self-motivated leader with 29 years of managerial experience gained with Lloyds Banking Group. He is an excellent communicator with a proven track record of high performance across many managerial roles in Commercial Banking, Bancassurance and the Retail network. During this time he was recognised for his strong achievements through his involvement in the Lloyds Bank Network Talent Programme for individuals with Director potential.
Following his voluntary work with a homeless charity, James decided to pursue his desire to change career and started to work for a non-profit making organisation within the housing sector in May 2015. In his role as Head of Landlord Services & Income at Knightstone Housing, James is responsible for all Knightstone tenancies and the collection of the rental income from their 23,000 residents across Bath, Bristol & Somerset. His team of 49 colleagues proactively help residents manage their finances and maintain their home by working with them, the local authorities, and job centres – a rewarding and exciting job with a social purpose in what is a challenging environment.
James is married with 3 children where his personal interests include running, rugby, golf and holidays.
